maut1.de is once again supporting the Rosenheim children’s home
Rosenheim, 2 June 2026 – The “Schöne Aussicht” children’s home in Rosenheim cares for children from the town and surrounding district whose parents are unable to provide adequate care or have passed away. The staff work tirelessly every day to provide the children with a stable environment and enjoyable experiences. The mobility tech start-up maut1.de is supporting this important work for the second time with a donation of 3,000 euros.
The home’s manager, Wilhelmine Hansen, explains that the donation will be used for activities and purchases that go beyond the regular budget. These include group trips to restaurants, short outings or special requests that bring joy to the children and enrich their daily lives.
The company has supported regional children’s and youth projects in the past, including FC Nicklheim. Julian Schmelzer, co-founder and CEO of maut1.de, explains why this support is important to maut1.de:
“We are a Rosenheim-based company and, as such, we want to make a contribution to the region. That is why we are delighted that our donation to the ‘Schöne Aussicht’ children’s home will help children who are currently going through a difficult time,” says Julian Schmelzer, founder and CEO of maut1.de.
About maut1 GmbH
maut1.de is a mobility tech start-up that offers electronic toll collection devices for contactless toll payment in various countries, including Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, as well as in Austria for large vehicles over 3 metres in height. There are dedicated lanes for Mautbox users which cannot be used by those paying manually (cash/credit card), saving up to 45 minutes’ waiting time per toll station.
