Sales partnership between maut1.de and Autopay

Rosenheim/Berlin, 10 June 2026 – The mobility tech start-up maut1.de and Autopay Mobility are entering into a strategic sales partnership. The aim of the collaboration is to provide customers with easier access to comprehensive toll solutions from a single source.

As part of the partnership, maut1.de is expanding Autopay’s existing portfolio of digital toll services with its toll boxes. maut1.de’s toll boxes can be purchased via Autopay’s online shop.

Thanks to this collaboration, Autopay customers can now purchase more than just electronic vignettes, e.g. for Austria, the Czech Republic or Switzerland. The range of countries covered is expanded by the toll boxes to include countries that rely on physical toll systems. These include Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Croatia.

“Our customers expect simple digital services without any complexity. Through our strategic sales partnership with maut1.de, we are effectively expanding our existing range of services and enabling travellers to access modern toll solutions from a single source,” says Martin Schisslbauer, CEO of Autopay GmbH.

“Our aim is to make mobility as straightforward as possible. Through our strategic partnership with Autopay, we are reaching even more customers who want to access toll solutions easily, efficiently and centrally from a trusted source,” says Julian Schmelzer, CEO and co-founder of maut1.de.

About Autopay GmbH

Autopay has been operating in the digital payment solutions sector since 1999 and brings together two business areas under one roof: mobility services for motorists and payment solutions for online retailers. Via the shop at mobility.autopay.eu and the Autopay app for iOS and Android, travellers can purchase e-vignettes for numerous European countries, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Bulgaria. Those who regularly travel on toll roads in Austria can also use the FLEX route toll in the app: the toll is charged automatically, so there is no need to stop at the toll station. Autopay is an authorised sales partner of ASFiNAG and sells vignettes exclusively at the official price.

Autopay’s payment gateway is used by over 50,000 online shops and can be integrated into platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce and Prestashop. Its customers include companies such as Orange, T-Mobile and ERGO. In 2023, Autopay processed transactions worth over €12 billion.
