Our goal is high customer satisfaction - that is why we ensure optimal and pleasant motorway use with our toll box. Thus, we offer our customers a high-quality toll box with the best range of services at a very affordable price. We do our best every day to make the toll process as convenient and transparent as possible for our customers.
Sustainability plays a major role, which is why we contribute to it. While other suppliers only provide one toll box for one country, we provide one toll box for 5 countries. On the one hand this means less production and on the other hand less equipment in your vehicle. In addition, our toll box facilitates traffic, as there are fewer traffic jams at the toll stations, which in turn reduces CO² emissions.

The maut1 GmbH is based in the beautiful city of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria. In 2020, maut1 GmbH was founded by Julian Schmelzer and Simon Baumgartner to offer our electronic toll collection devices for contactless toll processing in German-speaking countries. We have specialized in bringing the topic of contactless electronic toll processing closer to private customers. Therefore, in addition to our efficient toll box, we also offer an excellent customer service, which will always help you competently without waiting time
The founders of maut1.de
Julian Schmelzer is the managing director of maut1 GmbH and is passionate about helping you with the topic of tolls. Before founding maut1 GmbH, he worked in the toll industry for many years and built up a broad network of partners, suppliers, customers and ultimately friends. Thus Julian Schmelzer has good contacts to almost all toll operators throughout Europe. He would like to use this knowledge and network for you to simplify tolling in Europe.
Simon Baumgartner is the managing director and technical director of maut1 GmbH. He has also worked in the toll industry and is well versed in all technical aspects of toll processing.
